• APPLICATION - a weighted blanket is used in proprioception disorders, which appear, among others, in in people with autism, ADHD or sensory processing disorders. It is also often recommended for insomnia, depression and anxiety. The sensory blanket stimulates deep sensation, "silencing" the nervous system.
• SUPPORTS THE TREATMENT OF INSOMENESS - the quilt provides constant stimulation of the deep sensory system, which significantly contributes to reducing the level of anxiety and stress. The happiness hormone, i.e. serotonin, increases and the stress hormone, cortisol, decreases. By covering the body with a duvet, we gain a sense of security and a feeling of relaxation, thanks to which it is easier for us to fall asleep.
• HOW TO CHOOSE A DUVET - the weight of the weighted blanket should be approx. 10-15% of the user's body weight . Too little or too much load will make the quilt not fulfill its functions. If the weight fluctuates between two ranges, it is recommended to choose a heavier duvet version.
