Cable Railing Post, 42 In Stainless Steel, Pre-Drilled

Stainless steel cable railing post adds rigid support and clean, code-minded cable spacing for safer deck and stair runs. This 42 x 2 x 2 in pre-drilled post is built from SUS304 stainless steel with a powder-coated silver finish for everyday rust and corrosion resistance (not recommended for coastal use). Designed for level decks and stair angles, it includes mounting hardware and adaptable supports to help you dial in handrail alignment without complex fabrication.

Use this cable rail post to define a sturdy, low-visual-profile guardrail line on decks, porches, patios, balconies, stairways, and indoor rail applications. The 2 x 2 in profile and pre-drilled layout speed up measuring and help keep cable spacing consistent from post to post. For best long-term performance, avoid coastal salt-air environments and protect the shaft with anti-rust oil before initial installation.
